Jacliz Nigeria Limited recognises the hazardous nature of some of its operations – both oil and no oil related, and the adverse consequence of its failure to observer, check and control or completel eliminate the acts and conditions that could result in accidents or incidents. Jacliz Nigeria Limited is committed to continuous effort to identify and eliminate, or manage safety risks associated with its activites.

Leadership and Commitment
The Management of Jacliz Nigeria Limited plays the leading role in conducting regular safety tours of facilities and sponsors and promotes health and safety programmes. Jacliz also sponsors periodic third party audits of its HSE performance and implements recommendations arising from the audits.

Training and Safe Operations
Employees and contractor staff are trained on HSES policy, standards and procedures. Compliance with the HSE policy, work procedures, relevant regulations and industry standards is a condition of employment. Risk Assessment of activities are conducted regularly and control measures instituted to eliminate or mitigate HSES impact.

Incident Reporting and Investigation
To encourage employees to report unsafe conditions and practices Jacliz Nigeria has adopted a ‘’Collective Responsibility’’ Approach to responding to accidents and near misses. Incidents are documented and investigated. Recommendations are made to help prevent a recurrence and lessons learned shared throughout the organization. The ‘’Collective Responsibility’’ approach has ensured that there is a two-way communication between employees and management on health and safety issues.

Environment
Environmental protection and conservation are a fundamental part of Jacliz’s operations. We ensure that all new projects comply with the relevant standards and regulations. We also upgrade our existing facilities in compliance with the standards. Jacliz’s waste management policy promotes minimisation and recycling. Jacliz collaborates with local groups to promote environmental awareness and continuously re-evaluate its performance to ensure compliance.
